B2M Solutions agrees cooperative marketing deal
with Varlink

 

B2M Solutions, specialists in the management of the mobile enterprise, has entered into a new cooperative marketing deal with Varlink, one of the UK’s fastest growing distributors of Mobile Computing, Barcoding and RFID Data Capture products.

B2M Solutions cemented the relationship by supporting Varlink’s 2nd Channel Partner Conference on 30 January 2007 at the York Royal Hotel in York. The event provided a networking platform for Varlink’s 400 IT resellers, systems integrators and solutions providers.  It was also an opportunity for Varlink to celebrate the achievement of a turnover approaching £4 million within its first year of operation. 

Mike Pullon, Managing Director of Varlink says, “We are delighted to offer B2M’s mprodigy mobile management suite to our resellers.  We researched the market and found that it would be an extremely valuable, if not essential, part of a mobile enterprise system.  The mprodigy system provides a unique range of services that can help companies improve the management of both the devices and the software applications used by blue collar workers.”

When setting up the business, Varlink met with influential manufacturers and resellers. With a number of technologies converging, the company ensured it used language that was appropriate for the IT market rather than the more esoteric terminology used by barcode distributors.

“We’ve taken great care over the selection of our product sets,” continues Mike. “We recognise that few resellers have the bandwidth to deliver everything. So we provide a broad range of application packages so that they can meet the needs of their customer base. We offer some well established brands but also other manufacturers that aspire to have bigger brands.  And we’ve brought in a number of overseas products that can offer good margins to resellers.”
