Compex, the UK’s leading supplier of parking enforcement software and wholly owned subsidiary of VINCI Park, has selected B2M’s mprodigy mobile management system to be integrated with its 3sixty° ticketing and environmental monitoring application.
Established in 1985, Compex delivers high quality parking solutions to over 130 authorities throughout the UK and overseas.
Compex’s first customer to benefit from mprodigy will be the local authority in Market Harborough on the southern border of Leicestershire.
Liz Whitaker, Managing Director of Compex explains: “In the past, if anything went wrong with a device the parking attendant often had to return to base to have the problem investigated and resolved by a supervisor. This can result in a lack of enforcement and monitoring activity on their defined patrol route during this period. With the addition of B2M’s mprodigy mobile management system the supervisor, or Compex, can now interrogate the device via the mobile network, identify the problem and in most cases, be able to repair the problem remotely while the parking attendant remains on their defined route.
”Since software and hardware problems can be diagnosed and therefore resolved much faster we believe this new option for our 3sixty° handheld ticketing module will be of significant value to our customers. It means they can now manage their mobile workforce far more efficiently and cost effectively.
“mprodigy is a highly innovative system and we’re looking forward to using the wide range of capabilities that it has to offer use in future installations.”
